Requirements
Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
Certification credentialed by the National Board on Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting as a surgical technologist and surgical first assistant.
Current BLS Certification

Duties Responsibilities
The primary responsibility of the Surgical First Assistant is to provide direct assistance to surgeons during surgical procedures.
Positions patient to give best exposure for surgical procedure, using stabilizing equipment when necessary, while maximizing patient comfort and safety.
